In the search for the perfect string to fit our needs, we didn't have to look very far. Travis, our lead designer, used SIT Strings exclusively while on tour a few years back and was very pleased with their products. But more importantly, he was Impressed with the people behind them.
These strings are high-quality, built for the road and the rigors of the stage and they are made right here in America (in Akron, OH actually). So when it came time to figure out whose strings we were going to put on our guitars, we sent a message to the guys and gals at SIT and they answered the call.
All our guitars come set up and strung with SIT Power Wound strings in gauge .10-.46 as a standard. But if you need something thicker (or thinner even), just let us know and we can set your guitar up with a heavier or lighter gauge string - dependent on your needs.
These strings are already on the guitars and basses of some of the biggest names in music, like Brian Marshall (Alter Bridge), Willie Adler (Lamb of God), Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys), Zach Myers (Shinedown), and many others. So if they're good enough for these road warriors, they're good enough for us!

In the vastness of the internet, we figured that we were on Facebook and that was all we needed. But eventually we had to get out and explore the internet a little further and discovered that Twitter and Instagram and all the other social media apps out there all had their merits. So after we locked in our Twitter page, we started networking.
And that's when we read about Iconix Pickups and Don Smith. We saw a write up for his "Black Mass" humbuckers on Vintage guitar Magazine's page and read it. Then we headed to the website via the links listed and we struck up a conversation with none other than the man himself, Don Smith.
But what does that mean for you? It means you get high-end, hand-crafted pickups that we guarantee will sound the way you want them to. It means that you'll get the kind of boutique treatment that you'd get from a "high-end" builder, only we won't scorch your wallet getting you there.
But you don't have to take our word for it. Just read what Vintage Guitar Magazine has to say about Iconix Pickups. Or check them out at: www.iconixpickups.com
